Leschi sits between the Mount Baker and Madrona neighborhoods along the shores of Lake Washington. In the late 1800's an amusement park, serviced by a cable-car system running from Pioneer Square, was located here. While the amusement park attractions are long gone, the tranquility and beauty of the neighborhood remains. Its hillside terrain optimizes the views of the Bellevue skyline, the Cascades, and Mount Rainier.

Leschi's mix of home styles range from multi-million dollar lakefront estates, to classic turn-of-the-century homes, to many far more modestly priced houses. Neighborhood parks like Leschi Park and Peppis Playground are popular with area families.
